Delete your Lyralog account
This page explains how to delete your account in Lyralog: AI Life & Voice Logger, published by operator name, and what happens to your data.
Option 1: In the app (immediate)
- Open Lyralog and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm twice. Your account and data are deleted right away.
Want a copy first? Use Settings → Data & Privacy → Export My Data (JSON or CSV) before deleting. Deletion can't be undone.
Option 2: By email (no app needed)
- Email lyralogai@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- We'll reply to confirm the request, so nobody else can delete your account.
- Once you confirm, we delete your account and tell you when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your account (email address and sign-in details).
- Every entry you've logged, in text or voice transcripts.
- Everything derived from your entries: categories, tags, metrics, summaries and search embeddings.
These are removed immediately and permanently from our live database. Questions you asked and charts you requested are never stored, so there is nothing to delete.
What is kept, and for how long
- Encrypted database backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule and are gone within backup retention days days. They're used only for disaster recovery; if we ever restore one, we delete your data again.
- Server and sign-in logs expire within log retention days days, and crash reports within 90 days. They don't contain your entries.
- Feedback reports you sent from the app aren't linked to your account (unless you chose to include your email). To have one deleted, email us the report ID the app showed you.
- On your phone: deleting from a device clears it there. Sign out of, or uninstall the app from, any other devices.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
